Fuel Pressure Relief Kit
Description
Fuel line pressure relief kit for carburettor-equipped cars without a fuel return line.
Poor hot starting can result from pressure build-up in the fuel feed line of a carburettor-equipped car, causing the carburettor to flood during heat soak or when starting.
Some manufacturers addressed this problem by installing a fuel return line to the tank, but this is a cumbersome solution for owners of cars without this feature, as it involves making irreversible modifications to the vehicle; however, our company has the answer.
The Webcon fuel line pressure relief kit provides an additional fuel hose, clips and two T-pieces, one with a valve and one without, to install a bypass loop in the feed pipework to purge excess pressure built up in the system.
Installation simply involves cutting the fuel feed pipe before and after the fuel pump and inserting the bypass hose through the T-pieces. Solving a hot-starting problem really is that simple. The kit contains a length of fuel hose, six hose clips and two T-pieces. The kit is available with 8 mm internal diameter hose (part HSK001) or 6 mm internal diameter hose (part HSK002). Both are sold separately; please check availability and prices with our sales department.
