Electrocooler Air Conditioning Compressor and ECU Only (12 V)

Electrocooler compressor and ECU module. This module allows car builders to install air conditioning in a 12 V vehicle where an engine-driven compressor cannot easily be fitted, or to benefit from lower weight and no loss of engine power. Rear- or mid-engined vehicles can also benefit from the changes in weight and weight distribution when the compressor is mounted at the front of the vehicle, with the added benefit of significantly reducing hose length. An electric air conditioning system weighs less than 15 kilograms. The compressor and ECU module weighs around 6 kilograms.  

This is the compressor and ECU module only. IT IS NOT A COMPLETE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM. You will need to assemble the system yourself!

Our bespoke ECU uses a control strategy that prevents battery discharge, allowing the efficient scroll compressor to be used in a 12 V system. By combining this module with a modern parallel-flow condenser, evaporator and dryer, modern-car levels of cooling capacity can be achieved without the need for an engine-driven compressor. The module comes with a USB cable and support software for set-up in different vehicles.
