Electric Air Conditioning for Classic 911 (Half System)

The air conditioning cooling “half system” allows vehicles with existing air conditioning to use our electric compressor and modern condenser with the existing evaporator fan mounted in the smuggler’s box. Fits Porsche 911 models from 1965 to 1989 with factory- or dealer-installed air conditioning. 

If the factory- or dealer-installed evaporator/fan is in good condition, but the compressor and hoses are worn, this is the kit for you. The kit contains the compressor and brackets for installation in front of the fuel tank. The new condenser can be installed in place of the washer bottle on cars from model year 74 onwards. Earlier cars can mount the condenser in the rear wheel well. A complete set of new hoses and all wiring is included.

This is a ‘half system’ air conditioning system used with the factory evaporator/fan.
