Brantz High Temperature Wheel Sensor
Description
The BR2A-HT works in the same way as the standard wheel sensor version; however, it is specially designed for High Temperature situations such as extremely hot climates or courses with increased levels of braking. The Operating temperature is rated up to 120°C.
Positioning options:
- Mounted to pick up on metal hub bolt heads, on the brake disc of a non-driven wheel
- Mounted to pick up on flying tabs (minimum of 2 positioned 180° apart) fastened on the bolts of the Prop Shaft’s Universal Joint
- Mounted to pick up off an ABS ring
- Mounted through the back plate of Drum Brakes to pick up off the 4 hub studs
- Mounted to detect an absence of steel, for example drilled holes in a rotating disc
