Brantz CANBUS Interface, Hard-Wired Version
Description
The Brantz CANBUS Interface can be wired directly into your vehicle’s CANBUS System to obtain both a power source and the speed/distance information to be fed directly to the tripmeter. These units need to be wired up specific to your vehicle, so you will have to find wiring information on your own vehicle.
Please note: not all vehicles send the speed pulse via the CANBUS so please check with your vehicle manufacturer.

Essential extras
- CANBUS Plug Kit (CMS-BR45) – if you have a Brantz 4 pin plug fitted to your tripmeter (-PK)
or
- CANBUS wiring Kit (CMS-BR47) – if you have a standard 2 lead connection from your tripmeter
Recommended extras
- Contactless CAN Reader (CMS-BRCCR) – strongly recommended for vehicles still in warranty as this allows the CANBUS Interface to connect into the CANBUS System of the vehicle in a non-invasive manner – so not invalidating your warranty
