Description
The HANS system is the greatest safety innovation in motorsport since the introduction of the full-face helmet and a fireproof racing suit. The new RS-2 HANS device is an evolution of the current HANS range. After taking the current available range into account, the race series has some new design features, making this the most advanced to date, while still being largely based on the original design. This clever 20-degree HANS device design now comes in medium / large, fitting 90% of all drivers, and now also an XL version for larger builds and bigger neck sizes. The RS-2 has a new exclusive recycled carbon-based manufacturing process which is pressure moulded at very high pressure. This material and the advanced composites process make it very strong, ensuring that it passes and complies with the FIA’s strict test, while keeping the weight to just 826 grams.
