This Sure Fit climate control kit is specifically designed for those who have upgraded their engine with a serpentine belt drive system and do not require a compressor or mounting brackets.
You still get the same evaporator assembly, fly-by-wire controls, condenser, drier, safety switch, firewall plate and preformed aluminium lines as in the complete assembly. The kit is designed to install with minimal drilling and requires no fabrication.
Important: be sure to order the adapter set when using a GM compressor from 1999 or earlier or an R821 compressor for the SD7 series (sold separately).
Application note: this set is designed for vehicles originally supplied without factory A/C and that have had their engine upgraded with a serpentine belt drive system.
